Dude, I must have planted our Big Bopper about the same time as you we are a bit further north in Geraldton. We had 5 fruite over the summer but now it has gone absolutly mad, the thing is drippping with fruit, funny I always remember passion fruit as a summer fruit. after years of trying to grow Nelly Kelleys I cant beleive the success of this plant.
I trawled the local nurseries to find our Big Bopper seedling - do you have some good nurseries near you? If they don't have it they may be able to order one in. Look out also for the name 'Panama Gold' (see http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/plant/Panama-Gold-Passionfruit.htm).
We purchased our Big Boppa at Bunnings in Midland and planted it last spring. It is currently covered in huge buds so will be interesting to see how it sets fruit. I must admit though, we pollinate the flowers by hand because there seems to be a lessening in numbers of bees around here nowadays. Cheers, Bev

Also, this link has a range of Passionfruit varieties you can follow up on: http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/search.php?q=passionfruit.
Hope that helps in your search!
